One of the greatest figures of Greek Mythology is Hercules. Hercules has progressed through labor 11 and is going on to twelve. The twelfth labor is to bring the hellhound up from Hades. His first task was to get through the most famous river of the underworld, the river Styx. The only one to take him would be the one who drives the boat through, Charon. Although there was two conditions, They had to pay a bribe under a corpse’s tongue and they had to be dead. Hercules was so angry that Charon still took him. Then He had to face the hell hound. The hell hound had a snake instead of a tail, had snakes coming out of his back, and had three heads. Since Hercules had the skin of the lion as an armor that was indistructible against anything accept Zues lightning bolt. Hercules strangled the beast to death and was done with his labors.
